About us
The St Thomas Netball Club was originally founded to provide an outlet for school members wishing to play Netball as their sport on the weekends. Many years later, the club has grown to become an integral part of the school and its community.
It provides a wonderful avenue to meet new people, especially for newcomers to the school. There exists an ideal opportunity to make new friends and find common areas of interest through sport and social interaction.
We are proud of the club and its achievements and we remain an active part of the Parish community by contributing to the Fete and supporting the school in the schools netball competitions, as well as providing skills training.

The Clubs runs a Netta program after school hours at the school.

The St Thomas Netball Club plays in the Whitehorse Netball Association
The WNA organise two separate Saturday competitions each year.
WINTER: which begins in February /March and ends with the Grand Finals in July.
SPRING: which begins in August through till December.

Games are played on Saturday at the Sportlink, Hanover Road, Vermont South (behind Livingstone Primary school) Melways ref: 62 G7.
The early rounds begin at 11am and are usually for the younger age groups with subsequent rounds finishing at 4.00pm.

St Thomas Netball Club usually registers 10 – 12 teams with the WNA each season. For each team the club registers, we are required to provide an umpire.
Therefore it is in the club’s best interest to encourage our club members to take up the challenge of umpiring.
Generally at year 8 level, players are invited to join the umpiring team as a trainee. The club asks that these girls be nurtured and encouraged by parents and spectators. With full support, this will result in providing the club with badged umpires for the future.
